What information we collect
- Enquiry and quote forms: your name, company name, email address, phone number, product details, quantities, budgets, timelines and any files you upload.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: the information you choose to share when you contact us.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Client projects: contact and delivery details, order information and correspondence needed to manage your sourcing project.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address and device type, used for security and to keep the site working.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and email host (Hostinger), our form and newsletter tools, and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection.
- Suppliers and manufacturers in China, but only the project information they need to quote or produce your order. We share your personal contact details with them only when it is necessary, for example for delivery, and we will tell you first.
- Logistics and freight partners, to arrange shipping and delivery.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our service providers and manufacturing partners are based outside the UK, including in China. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we limit it to what is necessary and use appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years from our last contact.
- Client and order records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, to meet UK tax requirements.
- Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email fanglin@thebridgesourcing.com. We will respond within one month.
